The living room is glass on two sides and opens onto the terrace. A curved sofa faces the sea, and the dining table sits by the windows under a cluster of pendant lights. The living room has air conditioning.
The kitchen has a stone-topped island with bar stools, a combination microwave and oven, a cooktop, a dishwasher and a coffee machine.
Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, a built-in wardrobe, a ceiling fan and its own en-suite shower and washbasin. Bedroom 2 is the children's room: a double bed that sleeps two children comfortably, or two adults a little more snugly, with a single loft bed above it. A fold-down double bed in the living room sleeps two more, for up to seven guests.
The main bathroom is tiled in marble, with a bathtub, a walk-in rain shower and a double washbasin. The apartment has one toilet, shared by all guests.
The terrace runs along the front of the apartment and around the corner, with an outdoor dining table and seating facing the sea.
The pool is shared with the other residents and is open from 15 June to 15 September, 09:00 to 19:00. Arrival is keyless: you receive the codes for the building and the apartment before your stay.

the neighbourhood
Ostend is the largest town on the Belgian coast. A wide sandy beach, the seawall promenade, Mu.ZEE and the fish stalls at the Vistrap are all part of daily life here, as are the restaurants and bakeries of the town centre. The coastal tram runs along the whole Belgian coast, and Ostend station has direct trains to Bruges, Ghent and Brussels.
